Bishop Matano’s homily focused on the sanctity of life, and he recognized St. Mary of the Lake as being the first church in the diocese to support Walking with Moms in Need, a national initiative that encourages volunteers to actively stand with and assist pregnant and parenting mothers facing difficulties.
