Comprehensive pastoral planning began in the Diocese of Rochester in 1997 with a process called:  Pastoral Planning for the New Millennium (PPNM.)  As part of that overall process, a team spent a year studying the structure and functions of the Pastoral Center and make recommendations to the Bishop.  These recommendations are in Action Plan B.Two special studies have been completed with recommendations for Health Care Ministry in Monroe County and for Campus Ministry in the Diocese.

There was a comprehensive assessment of the PPNM and a broad consultation to design the second round of planning.  This can be found in Planning PPNM2.
