Parish Openings:

Youth Minister - Cathedral Community – Rochester, NY - seeking applicants for this part time (15 hrs. per week) position to develop and implement programs, opportunities and experiences for the teens in the parish.  Duties will include inviting and encouraging teens to participate in the life, mission and work of the faith community; facilitating a strong and visible ministry of the youth to the faith community and local community through parish activities and community service oriented projects; establishing and maintaining connections/relationships between the parish community and youth ministry; serve as liaison with the pastoral staff and parish council in matters pertaining to youth and youth ministry.  Qualifications include possessing strong organizational and computer skills, using appropriate software and social networks; appropriate education or willingness to work toward certification in youth ministry; mature and professional judgment; commitment to youth; and a good rapport with parents and the community.

Coordinator of Youth Ministry (CYM)- St. Francis of Assisi/St. Hyacinth Parish Cluster, Auburn, NY - Applications are being accepted for this part time coordinator of youth ministry (CYM) who provides vision and coordination for the parish’s efforts in ministry to young people from 7th through 12th grades. This includes high school and middle school sessions  biweekly from October to April, activities, service, and catechesis.  Should have some experience working with adults and youth.

Director of Liturgy for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester, NY – assist the Bishop to work with clergy and parishes in fostering sound liturgical practice throughout the12county Diocese. Responsible for overseeing all diocesan liturgies and conducting liturgical formation on diocesan and parish levels. Successful candidate will be a faith-filled person who believes in the values of the Second Vatican Council and have proven  leadership, administrative and communication skills.
